The college actively promotes international communication in both education and research and has signed agreements with about 15 distinguished veterinary colleges across the globe, i.e., University of Edinburgh, University of Veterinary Medicine at Budapest, etc. The most signatured collaboration is the “2+4” Program on DVM education with the University of Edinburgh.

The active collaborations in research seek to tackle the One Health problem with over 40 on-going projects of CNY 50 million. The college is also organizer of many high-level international conferences, such as the 25th World Pig Veterinary Science Conference & 2018 International PRRS Symposium, International Forum of Veterinary Teaching Hospital Directors, etc., to foster international communications.
