Research Interests
His research interest is primarily focused on the mechanisms of interaction between pathogens and hosts. Currently he is working on: 1) the mechanisms underlying host response against pathogens; 2) the mechanisms of persistent infection and immune escape by pathogens; and 3) development of novel vaccines using molecular biological approaches.
